We love cute, tiny animals, and we love NFTs, so why not combine the two? The result? Provably rare JPEGs of cute, tiny animals of course!
These indisputably kawaii Axolittles are a collection of 10,000 algorithmically generated pieces of adorable art living in the ocean of the Ethereum Blockchain. Each Axolittle is made up from a random selection of over 160 unique traits. An intriguing feature of the Axolittles is that every single one is fully animated! Yes, the team uses After Effects and an ingenious implementation of some custom code to achieve this. Astounding!
The artist behind this delightful project is Miniyami, whose favorite thing to draw is…you guessed it: axolotls! Axolittles has been working on a secret project and releasing teasers on Twitter as of late. See if you can guess what it is!
